This identity project was a product of my studies at the University of Hertfordshire, while earning a MA Graphic Design.

The wordmark was created to be whimsical and to subtly emulate the tentacles of the cuttlefish. It was completely rendered by hand and then carefully computer vectorized. Keen attention was paid to the letter spacing and the ligature between the f and the i. The Cf monogram was was created with equally as much care and attention to detail.

The hand-drawn style of the cuttlefish and the painting implements impy a DIY mentality, a quality that would appeal to customers of a custom paint company.
