Andrea has always had a passion for art, design and colour.
Attending Toronto’s OCAD University with a specialization in drawing and painting, she was greatly influenced by experimental art and colour theory – to this day, colour is one of the most important elements in Andrea’s work.
Upon leaving OCADU, she built a mural and decorative painting company: working in both private and commercial spaces, she advised clients on colour palettes and design choices, and executed the work herself. Her work was sought after by successful interior designers and was also featured on popular decorating TV shows.
Andrea began the transition from muralist to designer when she became a mother. She has now been pursuing a graphic design career for about a decade and a half. Combining high level technical know-how with her artistic and creative skills, Andrea has a unique skill set that melds her artistic strengths with effective, customer-focused design.
As she continues to successfully pursue both art and design practices, she has also re-engaged with her academic life, first receiving Dean’s Honour List standing in Conestoga College’s Bachelor of Design program, and now a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire's MA Graphic Design program.
She is presently taking on select new projects.
