Three Kretans is a long established, family run restaurant located in Kitchener Ontario. While their Greek focused food has always been stellar, their branding needed a refresh.

 

I created a logo with three strong signifiers of Greek culture. The blue of the flag, the Greek Meander motif, and the olive plant. I brought it all into the present day with a badge-style circular logo featuring modern typography and steel grey text.

 

The menus feature authentic photography from Greece as well as title text in the Greek language and alphabet - spelling and grammar checked with Greek speaking experts. An effort was made to keep the text very clean and minimalistic so not to compete with the photography.
