THE JAZZ ROOM

The Jazz Room, operated by the Grand River Jazz Society (GRJS), is Waterloo Region’s most popular and esteemed, dedicated jazz music club.

Since September 9, 2011, professional calibre jazz has been presented in a night club format on a regular basis on Friday and Saturday evenings. I have been their primary designer from the very beginning.

I have always kept the Jazz Room branding very crisp, clean and bold. Weekly event posters and CD designs expressed in black and white with high contrast photography. This served to be eye catching and dramatic, as well as being cost effective in printing. Although special event posters have always allowed for more colour and creativity.
